Getting to know Amy Rudich

Hello, I'm Amy. I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to work with you on your journey to better mental health and well-being. With a Master's in Social Work from James Madison University and my LCSW-C certification, I've been dedicated to supporting individuals and families since 2008. My background includes working in various settings such as mental health agencies in the Baltimore City school system, pediatric hospitals, and hospice care, where I focused on helping young people and their families navigate challenging times. I've also spent over two years doing case management and advocacy work with foster care youth in Baltimore, assisting adolescents and their families with placements in hospitals, schools, or foster family settings. Since 2016, I've been part of the Cedar Ridge community, working with all populations, including young adults and couples. However, my true passion lies in specializing in children, adolescents, and family development. I understand that each individual's journey is unique, and I strive to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings. My approach to therapy is collaborative and client-centered, focusing on your strengths and helping you build the skills needed to overcome challenges. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism spectrum support, or navigating life transitions, I'm here to help. I also provide support for anger management, grief, OCD, PTSD, and more. Working together, we can address intimate and romantic relationship issues, sex and intimacy concerns, and stress management. I believe in the power of therapy to transform lives and am committed to helping you achieve your goals. Outside of my professional life, I value spending quality time with my family and staying active in my community. I look forward to the possibility of working with you and supporting you on your path to healing and growth.
