Amy Sue Ott, LPC

Psychotherapist
GA
My name is Amy Sue Ott. I am personable and straightforward with therapy clients. I view individuals from a family system perspective, understanding that how an individual experiences their world is important in helping them locate strengths to move forward. I have worked with many people seeking help with career transitions, anxiety, depression, marriage difficulties, divorces, loss of a loved one, and the grief that follows. Life brings many experiences in different forms that, for many, feel overwhelming. It is my hope that I can assist and guide individuals through those times in therapy. My experience includes working with clients who have experienced trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, relationship problems, life stressors, and job loss. I hold a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas Woman's University. My first session is an opportunity for us to meet, for you to tell me your story, what brought you to therapy, or what made you decide you wanted therapy. This session is just the beginning of learning about you. I spend time listening, taking notes, and providing some initial insights. We would then schedule another session to continue our conversation.
