Amy Tetalman, MFT, is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in practice since 2008. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and her Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Santa Barbara.
Amy utilizes a collaborative, strength-based, and holistic approach to therapy. She believes in humor, compassion, and unconditional positive regard when connecting with her clients. She incorporates elements from psychodynamic, interpersonal, cognitive behavioral, internal family systems, humanistic, and solution-focused therapies. Her main treatment areas include anxiety, depression, mood disorders, postpartum, life transitions, parenting support, and women’s issues. She provides individual and couples counseling and sees clients ages 18 and older.
In her free time, Amy enjoys yoga, gardening, walking her dog, and spending time with family and friends. She is a long-time resident of Santa Barbara, happily married with two children.
