Amy Wendelowski, LPC

Amy Wendelowski, LPC

Psychotherapist
SC
I’m a down-to-earth Licensed Professional Counselor who takes an integrative, whole-person approach to healing—supporting the mind, body, and soul. I believe therapy should feel safe, collaborative, and tailored to your unique experiences and goals. I earned my Master’s in Marriage and Family Counseling in 2018 and my Master’s in Licensed Professional Counseling in 2021 from Liberty University. Since 2020, I’ve worked in a nonprofit setting serving underserved and diverse populations through a United Way Breaking Barriers grant. I’ve also had the privilege of working alongside law enforcement as an embedded crisis counselor, providing support during mental health emergencies in the community. I have a strong passion for working with the LGBTQ+ community and strive to create an affirming, nonjudgmental space where clients can feel seen, heard, and supported. In addition to my clinical work, I’ve spent the past two years in leadership as a Grant Coordinator and Community Outreach leader, supporting and mentoring a team of interns, counselors, and supervisors. I am currently working toward my LPC-S designation and providing supervision as a candidate.
