Amy Williams, LISW

Amy Williams, LISW

Psychotherapist
OH
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies and a Master of Social Work, both from The Ohio State University. For over 15 years, I have served and supported people of all ages. My areas of focus have been people facing difficult transitions such as becoming a parent, parenting a child with a developmental disability, starting college or a new job, getting diagnosed with a serious or chronic medical condition, divorce, or loss of a loved one. I utilize a non-judgmental and relaxed approach to help my clients feel safe and at ease. I also utilize a strengths-based approach as I believe each person has their own strengths and talents that can be used to help make the changes they want to see. The client-clinician relationship should be collaborative. While I may have years of experience, you are the expert in your needs and your story. You are worthy of dignity, respect, and feeling however you want to feel. You matter, and I look forward to working with you!
