I have extensive experience in community mental health agencies, long-term in-patient programs, and alcohol and drug treatment programs. My therapy style includes Functional Family Therapy, crisis intervention, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness. I am dedicated to my own personal and professional growth and continually seek education and training to benefit my clients. I believe that each client is unique and should be treated as such. I focus on their strengths rather than their deficits, tapping into their motivation for change. My goal is to establish a genuine, respectful therapeutic relationship, show empathy, and help clients clarify and highlight their strengths. Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, gardening, walking and hiking with our family dogs, camping, kayaking, reading, and spending time with my family.
