My inspiration to pursue a career in the mental health field stems from witnessing its positive impact. My professional experience includes working in community mental health, primarily with children, which profoundly highlighted and informed my understanding of the significant impact early intervention and support can have. This opportunity also allowed me to engage with and support parents, further inspiring my commitment to working with this demographic. Many adults seeking treatment present with challenges that originated during their formative years. I have been working with adults experiencing anxiety, ADHD, depression, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach is strength-based, focusing on building resilience and utilizing psychoeducation to enhance clients’ understanding of their circumstances. I empower clients by collaboratively developing skills to effectively manage the distress associated with navigating life challenges.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The therapeutic alliance is very important and I nurture that. I endeavor to help clients feel secure and work to cultivate a non-judgmental environment where clients are comfortable expressing themselves authentically. I am honored by having the opportunity to provide that guidance and seeing the hard work and efforts made by each client, until they are ready to move forward on their own.
