Greetings. My name is Ana Cooper and I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida and Georgia. I also have a Clinical Supervision certification in Florida. I have been in private practice for 10 years and have over 18 years of experience in the field working with diverse populations. I have worked in community mental health agencies and provided therapy in various settings-office, homes and virtual. I am committed to providing effective person-centered counseling to obtain your goals. I offer encouragement, nonjudgmental support to help resolve problems and assist in making healthy decisions, adjusting comfortably to change, while providing effective tools to overcome the emotional distress that can keep people stuck, frustrated and feeling unfulfilled. My goal is to help you overcome the obstacles that are impacting your life and offer ways to create balance. I work with children, teens and adults in the areas of depression, anxiety, behavioral challenges, daily life stressors, relationship issues and many more. I hope to dispel cultural taboos around counseling and provide a positive experience that can be life changing. Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
