Getting to know Anabel Grant
*This provider does not accept any Medicaid or Medicare plans*
I support individuals navigating grief, trauma, identity shifts, and emotional overwhelm, offering a space where you can feel grounded, seen, and supported. My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in deep respect for your lived experience. Together, we’ll explore what feels heavy, reconnect with your inner resilience, and move toward healing with clarity, compassion, and care. I believe therapy can be a powerful catalyst for growth, clarity, and lasting change that feels uniquely yours.
I bring a warm, intuitive energy to sessions and hold space for your full humanity-grief, joy, doubt, and everything in between. I believe healing is relational, and I show up with curiosity, compassion, and gentle challenge. Outside of therapy, I’m a playlist curator, a lover of Filipino comfort food, and a reflective soul who finds calm in quiet moments.
Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, but you don’t have to carry everything alone. If you’re craving clarity, connection, or simply a space to exhale, this might be your moment. I offer a grounded, compassionate presence-and I’d be honored to walk alongside you as you begin this journey toward something uniquely yours.
Anabel Grant has a Master’s in Social Work from Walden University. Anabel is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW #123794) at Cerebral. She is supervised by Dahlia Mayerson, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW #095945) in New York.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I work with individuals navigating trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and emotional dysregulation through a warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed approach. Drawing from CBT, DBT, ACT, and mindfulness-based practices, I integrate evidence-based care with cultural humility and spiritual sensitivity. My work blends clinical expertise with heartfelt connection, creating a space where clients feel empowered to heal and grow authentically. I am also pursuing a PhD in I/O Psychology at Capella University to further my practice.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
I became a therapist because I believe healing is possible—and I want you to feel deeply seen, heard, and empowered in ours. In session, you can expect warmth, honesty, and a space where your pain is honored and your strengths are amplified. I’ll meet you with compassion and curiosity, and together we’ll navigate the hard stuff while building something resilient, meaningful, and uniquely yours.
