Hello, I am Anais!
I am a bilingual (Spanish-speaking) LCSW with over 7 years of experience providing individual, group, family, and couples counseling to clients in need. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Long Island University and hold a Certificate in Alcohol and Substance Use Counseling from Adelphi University. Since then, I have worked in many different clinical settings.
I believe you have within you the resources to achieve your goals. I am here to offer new perspectives and help you unlock solutions to your problems. Opening up about your personal life is extremely difficult. I pride myself on providing a safe and supportive space to work side by side to overcome traumas and barriers. I specialize in addressing trauma, psychosocial stressors, interpersonal relationship issues, substance use, self-esteem, empowerment, and goal attainment. You can count on my empathetic and person-centered approach in every conversation we share.

It really is unfortunate I didn't actually get the opportunity to meet with this counselor because the office contacted and tried to persuade me into booking a months worth of appointments before an initial session with the therapist.
In addition to that they asked me to pay for all of my copays at once for all 4 appointments which was also very strange. I didn't even meet with my doctor and they charged me a copay which had to be refunded because I cancelled.

I personally would not recommend this provider. My first session which was about 25-30 mins was cut off maybe due to signal. She never joined the call again or had the decency of emailing or calling me back. For my second session, she never even joined the call and left my partner and I waiting for nearly half hour. We never heard from her at all to at least advise or apologize as we understand circumstances arise and we are human. Wellnite which is the company she provides services for, are very unprofessional and their customer service is horrible. I literally had to call and text so many times to have my money back. They would not even respond my calls, instead preferred to text back. After so much back and forth, they decided to reimburse part of the money. I have never left a negative review for any company or any service, but I made sure I did for this one. The most unprofessional experience ever.
