“I had a really positive experience working with Analise. From the very beginning, she was warm, thoughtful, and genuinely present in our sessions. What stood out most to me were the moments of pause and reflection she created after I shared difficult parts of my life. She gave me space to process without ever rushing me, and I always felt listened to and respected. Her calm, supportive presence made it easier for me to open up, even when things felt vulnerable. Analise is especially great for anyone who is thoughtful, emotionally aware, or navigating a lot internally and wants a therapist who leads with kindness and care and moments of pause (she does guided breath work after tough moments!!!). She creates a safe, supportive environment and brings a lot of intention to her work. I’m grateful for the time I spent working with her and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a compassionate, attentive therapist.”

Getting to know Analise Atchison

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s in Social Work from Aurora University, my practice encompasses a diverse range of client needs and experiences. With a compassionate and client-centered approach, I provide support and guidance to individuals navigating life's challenges. Drawing from evidence-based practices and a deep understanding of trauma, identity, and neurodiversity, I work collaboratively with clients to cultivate healing, resilience, and empowerment. My mission is to create a safe and affirming space where individuals can explore their concerns, develop coping strategies, and embark on their journey toward personal growth and fulfillment.

What should a new client know about working with you?

In addition to working with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, or difficult life transitions, I also have extensive experience serving survivors of trauma, LGBTQ individuals, and individuals learning to live with ADHD. I use an eclectic approach to help tailor each client's experience in therapy to fit their needs. My goal will always be to provide my clients with a safe space to be themselves and to create real and sustainable change in their lives. Reaching out for help is never an easy thing to do and I congratulate you on taking this first step.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In a typical session, I will guide the conversation to help you explore areas of your life you are seeking to change, and help you better align with your goals. I approach my clients with honesty, empathy, and humor to help make their therapeutic space both as comfortable as possible and challenging when needed. I also enjoy making sure my clients leave each session with a takeaway to keep in mind or one thing they can do throughout the week to help bring them closer to thier goals.
