I began Inner Reflections for one reason- to help others find happiness in their work, relationships, and life. But it’s so much more than that. It’s an opportunity for my clients to find understanding in themselves, their motivations and behaviors.
There are so many layers to a person’s well-being and sometimes it takes a little practice, patience and guidance to uncover the layers which make us whole. That’s exactly what I strive to achieve with my clients. I realize no two clients are alike, and neither are my sessions.
My eclectic approach to therapy is done intentionally. This integrated approach to psychotherapy focuses on the individual and pulls from a variety, not a predefined methodology, to treat individual needs.
As a licensed mental health counselor my experience resides in working with adults and families. I received my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University. During my clinical training I worked with individuals across the lifespan as well as assisting clients with psychotic disorders in a day program. My experience however, reaches far beyond that.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with children, adolescents and teenagers in various private practices all across Long Island and New York City. I’ve also served as a director and clinical supervisor for interns and staff therapists, mentoring and carving a pathway for their future in the field of mental health counseling.
My eclectic approach, tailored to the needs of each individual, is composed of a variety of techniques and strategies that best suit the client in front of me.
