I earned my undergraduate degree in Christian Counseling and my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. Along with four years of post-master's clinical counseling experience, I bring more than 30 years of pastoral ministry experience, helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life's challenges with compassion and care.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I specialize in working with clients experiencing anger management concerns, relationship difficulties, trauma, and a wide range of life stressors and transitions. I use evidence-based counseling approaches tailored to each client's unique needs and goals. For clients who desire it, I can thoughtfully incorporate Christian faith and biblical principles into the counseling process.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Taking the first step toward counseling can feel overwhelming, and finding the right therapist is an important part of the process. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes.
I also believe, healing begins in a trusting therapeutic relationship. Together, we'll identify your strengths, address obstacles that may be holding you back, and develop practical strategies to help you experience growth, resilience, and lasting change. Whether you're working through past hurts, struggling in your relationships, or seeking direction during a difficult season, I'm here to support you on your journey toward hope and healing.
