I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with several years of experience supporting individuals through life’s most complex emotional and relational challenges.
I specialize in working with mood disorders, substance misuse/dependence, adult children of emotionally immature parents (EIPs), boundary development, parenting and family dynamics. I also specialize in health psychology and would love to partner with you to cope with your health challenges, whether related to smoking cessation, coping with chronic pain, or learning new skills to manage a chronic condition. I am especially passionate about animal advocacy and providing pet loss & bereavement services.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Therapy isn't a ""quick fix"" but is worth the emotional labor, time, and commitment to see the kind of changes you want to see in your life. Therapy should NOT be stressful or something you dread. Will it be hard work? Yes. Will it be uncomfortable at times? Yes.
I make every effort to make sure the experience is as enjoyable and satisfactory as possible to ensure that therapy will be something you can stick with through the growing pains and tough sessions.
My hope is that you walk every from every meeting feeling heard and having worked on a new skill as well as developed a renewed hope for your future.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
