Getting to know Andrea Blevins

I’m a licensed professional counselor with a Masters of Science in mental health counseling from Lee University. I have been serving as a therapist since 2012 and began work with at-risk populations specializing in PTSD, depression, anxiety, elements of addiction and family attachment issues along with adjustment challenges to adulthood, and supporting healthy relationship development. I deeply love working with individuals, and families. My goal is to support clients through challenging emotional growth and times of transformation by providing unconditional acceptance and care along with insights to navigate the new terrain. The main techniques I incorporate in therapy are cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR, attachment therapy and motivational interviewing.
