Dr. Andrea Gladstone, PhD

Psychotherapist
CO
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with nearly 15 years of experience and I’m passionate about partnering with individuals on their journey toward improved health and well-being. As a health psychologist, I’ve had the privilege of working with people from all walks of life as they navigate the challenges that often accompany mental and physical health concerns. Currently, I specialize in supporting adolescents and adults dealing with stress, insomnia, anxiety, depression, and other health-related issues. ? I believe therapy is a deeply personal experience, and it’s essential to understand and support the whole person. It’s important to me that every individual feels respected, heard, and that the goals we work toward in therapy are collaborative and meaningful. My hope is that each person feels supported as they make progress toward their goals and gain tools they can carry with them outside of therapy. ? In my free time, I enjoy traveling and exploring new places, cultures, and cuisines. I love spending time in nature, taking my dog on adventures, and experimenting in the kitchen. I'm also passionate about learning new languages and expanding my perspective. Curiosity, compassion, adventure, and lifelong learning are values I deeply cherish.

What should a new client know about working with you?

With a background in health psychology and experience in a variety of medical clinic settings, I’ve had the opportunity to work with individuals from many different walks of life. Currently, I focus on working with older adolescents and adults. ? My training includes a strong foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and I’ve pursued ongoing specialized training in both modalities to deepen and expand my skills. Over time, I’ve also incorporated mindfulness practices, including elements of Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), into my work. ? I take an eclectic and individualized approach to therapy—there’s no one-size-fits-all model. Together, we’ll tailor your treatment to best support your unique goals, values, and strengths.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In my work as a health psychologist, I view therapy as a collaborative process. The relationship we build is central to helping you make meaningful, sustainable changes. Early on, I’ll work with you to understand your goals, preferences, and what success looks like from your perspective. I take a holistic approach—looking at the whole person within their broader context. That means exploring your strengths, support systems, cultural background, habits, health history, and daily routines. Understanding how physical, social and emotional health interact is key to the work we do together. Because real change often happens between sessions, I’ll encourage you to practice the strategies we discuss in your everyday life. My goal is to help you feel empowered with practical tools that support your well-being, both inside and outside of therapy.
