Greetings,
I'm thrilled to begin working with you and share five intriguing facts about myself.
I relocated to this wonderful state in 2013, and it's been a blessing. Each engagement has enriched my understanding and growth. Later, as the Assistant Clinical Director, my passion for trauma and substance abuse work grew.
Academically, I earned both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Community Counseling from Georgian Court University, a northeastern private university renowned for championing women's advancement. GCU's focus on justice, respect, integrity, service, and compassion has deeply shaped my values.
What makes me different as a clinician is my authentic approach. I place importance on clients' unique experiences. My therapy sessions may include humor, recent cultural references like a TikTok video, or EMDR. I also acknowledge painful emotions like anxiety, grief, loss, and depression and offer a comforting presence to my clients.
I'm exhilarated to be part of Tava Health. This position lets me expand my loved work and aid more individuals in bolstering their mental wellbeing. Witnessing people's success is incredibly fulfilling!
Lastly, I'm a devout cat lover! Bosco, Toby, and Mariska (named after women's rights advocate Mariska Hargitay) have been my delightful companions.
