Getting to know Andrea Kirby

Feeling down, anxious, or stuck? I specialize in treating trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health symptoms using somatic and mindfulness therapies, CBT, and EMDR. I use compassionate, research-backed therapy to help you move through difficult struggles and rediscover your core self. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University and a Bachelor’s from the University of Northern Colorado, providing a strong foundation for my clinical work. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Trauma leaves deep imprints on mind and body, making it hard to move forward. EMDR is a proven, powerful method to process and heal trauma. Whether you’re dealing with PTSD, anxiety, or unresolved childhood experiences, EMDR helps reprocess traumatic memories so they no longer hold you back. Through EMDR, I help desensitize the emotional pain tied to trauma, fostering healing in a safe, non-intrusive way. Many clients experience significant relief. Self-Worth Do you often feel unworthy or stuck in self-doubt? Low self-esteem affects many areas of life—from relationships to career decisions. I help you recognize your inherent worth, challenge self-limiting beliefs, and empower you to create a fulfilling, authentic life. Mindfulness & Stress Management In today’s fast-paced world, stress and anxiety often disconnect us from ourselves. I teach mindfulness practices that bring you back to the present, helping manage stress, anxiety, and overwhelm. Using breathwork, grounding exercises, and mindful self-reflection, you’ll develop practical tools to handle daily life with more ease and awareness. Trauma & PTSD Recovery Trauma can deeply affect relationships, safety, and well-being. I specialize in treating recent trauma and long-standing PTSD.
