Are you a high-achieving woman who looks successful on the outside but feels stuck, overwhelmed, or unfulfilled inside? Do you find yourself procrastinating, doubting your abilities, or striving for perfection, only to fall short of your own expectations? If you're tired of self-sabotaging patterns holding you back, you're in the right place. I'm here to help you break free from these self-defeating cycles. Together, we'll explore the underlying causes of your self-sabotage, uncover your inner strengths, and develop practical strategies to empower you to move forward with confidence and clarity. I hold a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University and bring over 11 years of clinical experience helping clients identify and heal the root causes of their symptoms. My approach is strategic and focuses on five main life themes: safety, trust, power and control, self-esteem, and intimacy. Because my approach is holistic-working with both mind and body-and structured, it is designed for women who are ready to deeply learn about themselves and make intentional, long-lasting changes. I typically work with clients on a shorter-term basis, between 6 to 12 months. If you are ready to heal, show up with an open mind, and want to learn more about yourself in a safe space, let's connect. Within this secure environment, you will explore the hidden and wounded parts of yourself, becoming more aware of your lifelong patterns. This awareness will allow you to make more intentional choices. With the tools you learn in therapy, you will heal and begin to embody the most authentic, connected, and joyful version of yourself.

What should a new client know about working with you?

When we work together we will combine a structured form of therapy with the inclusion of holistic, somatic-based techniques that allow you to: physically release stored emotions and tension from the body; Identify, challenge, and change the unhelpful thinking patterns that are perpetuating the dis-ease in your life; and create a successful plan to maintain the healthy changes achieved in therapy. Because Andrea's approach is holistic (we work with the MIND & BODY) and structured (this is for the woman who is ready to really learn about herself and make intentional and long-lasting changes in her life) she works with her client's on a shorter term basis (between 6-12 months). If you are ready to heal, show up with an open mind and to learn more about yourself in a safe space, let's connect.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Within the first few sessions, we begin to establish trust and rapport. These are a must for any successful therapy! I get to learn more about you, your childhood, and some of your life-long patterns. We create a timeline of your life (all major life events) and then we begin to complete assessments - all that will better help you gain insight and better identify what areas of your life you want to focus on within therapy. -Using a Person-Centered approach to build strong rapport and the relationship between us (therapist and you/your child). -Using Somatic-based interventions to help physically release trapped emotions. -Using Cognitive-Behavioral techniques to identify and change unhelpful/destructive thoughts and behaviors and replace them with ones that will lead you to create the relationships you want and live out your fullest potential. -You begin to make incremental but lasting changes through the creation of new patterns of thinking and behaving.
