The appointment will not be confirmed until the practice speaks with you directly.** I hold a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Texas, Austin, and work with adults of all backgrounds, seeking to create a warm, open, and flexible space for each person I serve. I collaborate with individuals who want to become more aware of their thought processes and gain deeper understanding of their emotions and behaviors. Many want to feel more competent and capable in managing daily life and its challenges in a skillful and effective way. Our work together will focus on maximizing your experiences, pre-existing skills, and wisdom so that you can partner with me—and your treatment team—in setting the stage to achieve your goals. I use evidence-based treatment methods to help others develop more balanced perspectives and generalize new skills into action. I encourage clients to identify and process their patterns of thought and behavior, partnering with them to discuss and create plans for new actions and, hopefully, new results that improve their quality of life. I believe that no matter how complex and confusing life’s issues may seem, there is always an opportunity for growth, healing, and understanding. I look forward to collaborating with you to build what you want in your life moving forward.
