I believe that everyone deserves a listening ear to tell their story to and have an advocate for when things get hard. I aim to offer a non-judgmental, safe environment for all who seek counseling. I enjoy partnering with clients in understanding their experiences, healing negative belief systems, and living empowered lives. I am able to provide services for individuals of all races and genders. I am dedicated to providing clients with a supportive environment where therapy sessions are collaborative, engaging and tailored to the individuals unique needs either through EMDR or talk therapy. I am trained in EMDR through the personal transformation institute which emphasizes a somatic element within EMDR. I am passionate about working with clients on self-esteem, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, and life transitions through evidence based practices. I am a firm believer that anyone can benefit from counseling. Whether you're in crisis or needing a place to vent and process, I'm happy to hold space for whatever comes up. What should a new client know about working with you?

I work with clients who are going through depression, anxiety, relationship struggles, or life transitions, and trauma. I try to collaborate with clients on what works best for their life while improving what they can control and coming to terms with the things they can't control. I use a mix of narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, person centered therapy, and attachment based therapy within my practice. I am also trained in EMDR.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My sessions with clients vary depending on their goals and needs. However, I can confidently say that for each client I am consistent with enhancing our therapeutic relationship, collaborating on what they want their sessions to look like, and bringing humor, realism, and a whole lot of grace to the sessions.
