Andrea Middagh, LPC

Andrea Middagh, LPC

Psychotherapist
TX
I have experience working with trauma, PTSD, anxiety disorders, emotional regulation difficulties, relationship conflict, attachment-related issues, shame-based thinking patterns, and stress related to work, family dynamics, and major life changes. I also work with veterans, first responders, and individuals navigating high-stress environments or chronic emotional pressure. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and practical. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable being honest and vulnerable without fear of criticism or shame. I recognize that therapy is not a “one-size-fits-all” process, and I tailor treatment to each client’s unique experiences, needs, and goals. I integrate evidence-based approaches including CBT, EMDR, mindfulness, somatic awareness, trauma-informed care, attachment-focused interventions, and person-centered therapy to help clients better understand themselves and develop healthier ways of coping. Together, we focus on increasing emotional awareness, strengthening boundaries, improving communication, reducing anxiety and intrusive thoughts, processing difficult experiences, and building sustainable coping skills that support long-term healing and growth. My goal is to help clients feel more grounded, confident, emotionally regulated, and connected in their relationships and everyday lives.
