What should a new client know about working with you?

Hello/Hola, my name is Andrea M. Morris, and I am a bilingual and bicultural therapist with 28 years of experience supporting adults and couples as they navigate challenges and work toward more fulfilling, meaningful lives.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My work is grounded in a holistic-systemic approach, recognizing that emotional well-being is shaped by the interaction of our relationships, life experiences, physical health, beliefs, culture, and environment. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, I work collaboratively with clients to understand the larger context of their lives and the patterns that may be contributing to distress. Individual therapy sessions are typically 50–55 minutes in length. The initial intake session may last 60 minutes to allow time to review your history, discuss your concerns, and develop treatment goals. The frequency of sessions is individualized based on your needs, goals, and progress, with many clients beginning with weekly sessions and adjusting over time.
