Psychotherapist
MD
Welcome to Quietude Healing Collaborative, where healing begins with feeling seen, heard, and understood. I believe therapy should be a sanctuary, a place where you can slow down, breathe, and explore life's challenges without fear of judgment. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship concerns, work-related stress, grief, trauma, self-esteem challenges, and burnout. My approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and grounded in evidence-based practices while honoring the emotional, mental, and whole-person aspects of healing. My therapeutic approach is integrative and individualized, recognizing that no single approach fits every person or every season of life. I draw from evidence-based and insight-oriented modalities, including somatic approaches, Polyvagal Theory, mindfulness, psychodynamic therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), person-centered therapy, existential therapy, and solution-focused interventions to meet your unique needs. Together, we'll explore not only your thoughts and behaviors, but also the role of your nervous system, emotions, relationships, and life experiences in shaping your overall well-being. Whether you're navigating a difficult season or seeking greater purpose, healing from past experiences, or building a more fulfilling life, our work together will focus on helping you cultivate insight, resilience, and meaningful, lasting change. At Quietude Healing Collaborative, my hope is that you leave each session feeling empowered, supported, and more connected to the person you are becoming.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Beginning therapy can feel like a vulnerable step, and my goal is to create an environment where you feel safe, respected, and genuinely heard. Clients often describe my approach as warm, thoughtful, and collaborative. I believe that healing occurs within a trusting therapeutic relationship, where you are free to show up as your authentic self without fear of judgment. Our work together will be tailored to your unique needs, experiences, and goals. Rather than relying on a single therapeutic approach, I integrate a variety of evidence-based and insight-oriented modalities to support the whole person. Together, we'll explore not only your thoughts and behaviors, but also the role of your emotions, nervous system, relationships, and life experiences in shaping your well-being. I don't believe therapy is about "fixing" you because you are not broken. Instead, therapy is an opportunity to deepen self-awareness, build resilience, develop practical tools for navigating life's challenges, and reconnect with your strengths and values. Whether you're seeking relief from emotional distress, healing from past experiences, or pursuing personal growth, I will meet you where you are and walk alongside you as you move toward the life you envision.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Every client's journey is unique, so I tailor the therapeutic process to your individual needs and goals. During our first few sessions, we'll spend time getting to know one another, exploring your concerns, discussing your personal history, and identifying what you hope to gain from therapy. Together, we'll develop meaningful goals that reflect what is most important to you. As our work progresses, sessions become a collaborative space for insight, growth, and healing. We'll explore patterns in your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life experiences while also paying attention to how your nervous system and body respond to stress. Depending on your needs, I may incorporate mindfulness, somatic and Polyvagal-informed techniques, cognitive and behavioral strategies, reflective exploration, and practical coping skills to support your progress. I believe therapy is most effective when it is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to the individual. My goal is to help you develop greater self-awareness, strengthen emotional resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change that extends beyond our sessions.
