Fostering freedom in thought patterns, self-engagement processes, and positive behavior change is the focus of Freed Mind Consulting. My passion is guiding others in implementing daily life strategies that improve and optimize LIVING! I believe a freed mindset is essential to living a healthy, productive, and enjoyable life. How we process and interact with the world we live in is important, but how we manage our inner dialogue-the habitual conversations we have with ourselves-is critical to our ability to navigate life, enjoy relationships, and experience JOY! Specializing in person-centered and solution-focused care, I utilize a variety of skills and evidence-based interventions to help every client develop measurable goals for living mindfully free. Through engaging in treatment, clients are able to: - Combat persistently negative, worrisome, and ruminating thoughts - Break free from crippling anxiety, depression, distress, and fear - Accept, stabilize, and move through the complex effects of lived trauma exposure Freed Mind Consulting emphasizes mindfulness practices, supporting medication-free talk therapy interventions to improve quality of life. Focusing on helping others manage impulsivity and the symptoms associated with mood and anxiety disorders is a key component of the work. I provide tele-therapy video and phone sessions, where you can access support from the comfort of your own home. Taking the first step to getting the skills and support you need begins with a call. I am here to help you improve self-acceptance, move beyond traumatic experiences, enjoy pleasurable relationships, and live a more fulfilling life. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Fordham University, a Bachelor's degree from Binghamton University, and additional training in Educational Leadership and Administration from the College of Saint Rose.
