Andrea Thomas, LCSW

Psychotherapist
VA
Hi there, I'm Andrea Thomas, a licensed clinical social worker with a Master's in Social Work from Florida State University and over a decade of experience dedicated to supporting adults, children, and families. I specialize in helping people manage stress and anxiety, work through trauma and grief, navigate life transitions, and build motivation, self-esteem, and confidence. At the heart of my practice is a simple belief: everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. In our work together, we'll create a safe, open space where you can freely express your thoughts and emotions without judgment. When I'm not in session, you can find me enjoying my favorite music or cheering on my favorite football team-it's part of how I recharge and stay grounded. When you're ready, I'm here to listen, support, and walk alongside you. Let's start the conversation toward your well-being.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
