*After booking, you will receive a link via IntakeQ so you can complete required intake forms prior to your appointment* I’m a licensed master social worker (LMSW) with a Master of Social Work from Fordham University Graduate School of Social Services. I provide telehealth therapy to adults in Connecticut and specialize in treating a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, panic disorders, suicidal ideation, self-harm, PTSD, schizophrenia, substance use disorders, co-occurring conditions, psychosis, and other mood-related difficulties. These challenges often impact multiple aspects of life, including relationships, work, and a person’s overall sense of well-being. I provide compassionate, evidence-based care that focuses on the whole person, not just their symptoms. My approach integrates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), which helps you examine the connections between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors; dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), which supports emotional regulation and distress tolerance; and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), which encourages psychological flexibility and values-based living. I was drawn to this field by a strong desire to break down stigma and make mental health care more accessible and inclusive. I’m passionate about creating a space where people feel supported and empowered in their mental health journey. I’m also an avid learner and naturally curious, traits that help me understand each person’s unique story. Outside of work, you’ll find me outdoors (weather and bugs permitting), planning my next vacation, decorating anything I can get my hands on, or enjoying ice cream and reality TV. The provider is a Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern in FL.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Before beginning therapy with me, there are two things I want you to know. First, I believe learning goes both ways. While I bring professional knowledge and clinical skills to our sessions, I will also be learning from you, your culture, values, experiences, and perspective. Second, therapy can sometimes feel uncomfortable, and that’s okay. I see those moments as openings for insight and growth. My role is to help you feel safe, respected, and free to be your authentic self as we explore those moments together. My style is collaborative and grounded in respect. I center your goals and pace, and together we’ll build a treatment plan that fits your life. I’m committed to providing culturally sensitive and LGBTQIA+ affirming care. Whether you’re navigating a new diagnosis, chronic mental health symptoms, or life stressors that feel overwhelming, I will meet you where you are with care, compassion, and a nonjudgmental presence. I value the therapeutic relationship and consider it one of the most powerful tools for healing. In our work together, we’ll focus on strengthening coping strategies, enhancing emotional resilience, and working toward meaningful personal change.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Each session is tailored to your needs, but typically we’ll begin by checking in on your current experiences and identifying what feels most important to address. From there, we may use structured techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to challenge unhelpful thinking patterns, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to build emotional regulation and interpersonal skills, or acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) to help you connect with your values and move toward what matters to you, even when things feel hard. I strive to create a space that is warm, supportive, and flexible. Some sessions might focus more on processing and reflection, while others may include skills-building, problem-solving, or exploring how past experiences affect current challenges. I always follow your lead, but I’ll also bring in tools and guidance to help you move toward your goals. Whether you’re just starting therapy for the first time or returning after time away, I’m here to help you navigate your journey at a pace that feels right for you. Therapy is not always easy, but it can be incredibly rewarding, and you don’t have to do it alone.
