A family member recommended Andrew to me, and I am so thankful that she did. His counsel has been extraordinarily effective in providing the necessary skills/tools to manage and get through one of the most difficult seasons of my life. When I called him while in crisis, he made time for me, helped me think clearly, and provided an excellent strategy to handle the emergency. He's the best. Really.
He has opened my eyes to a lot of things how to handle problems I wasn’t handle on my own I don’t think I would be as grounded without him
I have been very pleased with the services received from this group. It has helped me to learn what some of my triggers are that cause me to be upset. Some things are beyond my ability to change. I am learning coping mechanisms. We cannot change other people but we can change how we react to them. We can decide if we want peace or constant battles. We are in charge of ourselves only. I am strengthening my bonds with my family and that means a lot as there are so few of us. I really feel as though I am making progress. Please give them an opportunity to help you too.
I have been extremely happy with my visits thus far. He is very, patient and knowledgeable. I have learned more about myself as well as what what I want and need. My relationship with my family has improved. I am becoming more aware of my needs and my boundaries.
Andrew is straightforward. He catches me when I may not see things clearly. He helps me clarify, evaluate, and develop strategies and tactics. The assignments or tools he offers help me make real changes. He recognizes that small changes need to be reinforced and built on. I'd highly recommend him for those who really want to make their life better.
Helped me a lot. Good communicator. WM

I have dealt with some difficult situations that Andrew has used humor at times to work the problems. He does use journaling (which allows you to visualize strategies).Andrew makes me feel very comfortable. He has you put in the work to reach your goal. I can talk about anything with him. I would strongly suggest working with him! KK
Andrew is a phenomenal therapist and knows how to tackle serious issues but also keep the mood light with some humor. I’ve definitely seen changes in my life after seeing Andrew for the last 4 months
Andrew's appointments are virtual meetings but I always feel like he is in the room with me. The Therapy Portal is user friendly and easy to navigate for the appointments. He greets me with a smile and a sense of humor and comfortably walks me through the session. He uses various techniques to discuss your inner most thoughts and never passes judgement. I have been his patients for about 5 months now and we meet virtually, once a week. He is accommodating when adjustments need to be made to the appointment time or day and always finds a way to make time in his busy day for his clients. He has a heart of gold and shares his perspective and examples from his own life that are relevant to the conversation. Andrew has given me a new view of reality that I did not see in my clouded vision of what my world looked like through my lens. I recommend Harris Counseling and Consulting to anyone who is seeking personal development and open to making changes to improve their outlook on life
I have written and read many reviews over the years, so I would like to stress that Andrew is not just an exceptional therapist, but an exceptional person. If more stars were available, he would be in this more elite category where only the most experienced professionals reside. The ones who provide levity to chaos and comfort to the broken. His advice is boots on the ground where we live. In our work, in our families, and in our hopeless moments when we have run out of answers. We have been meeting weekly for the past 2-3 months, and in a world where many people feel unseen and alone, his sessions are a soft place to land, process and re-group. My time has been spent discovering the strength, creativity, and direction that has been in me all along. I needed help untangling the good habits from the bad and moving forward with clear goals and objectives. He has given me that. Every Rocky needs a Mickey in their corner, watching their blindspots so they can reach heir potential.
I felt comfortable and relaxed which occurred by Andrew's humor. He explained the process after listening to me and some of my past and recent issues.

Andrew is amazing. He has taught me many different coping skills to deal with the hustle and bustle of life paired with my family drama. My panic attacks have reduced dramatically since I’ve started seeing him
Andrew was highly knowledgeable, professional and helpful in working with me on my issues. I highly recommend his services for anyone considering counseling!
Our visits have been great. Andrew has gone above and beyond in helping me deal with my wife's cancer diagnosis. He is helping me develop the tools I need to cope with our present situation as well as the future. My communication skills are improving and my wife and I are growing closer during this difficult time. I highly recommend Andrew for couples counseling as well as personal counsel.
Our visits have very helpful and informative. I am dealing with a cancer diagnosis and my husband is accompanying me on my journey. Andrew has taken the time to get to know each of us and counsel us in how to communicate well during this time, and how to help each other feel less stressed. We are learning mental skills and developing tools that will be useful going forward. I am very comfortable talking with Andrew about anything. I highly recommend his counseling. I don't know what my future holds, but by allowing Andrew to help me move forward into it, I am confident will handle everything well and become the best version of myself along the way.
Andrew really helped me work through a tough phase of life. He's a great listener and I felt he really understood the issues I raised. He knows when to use humor to help loosen the conversation and create better dialogue. I appreciate the help Andrew provided.
?????????? Andrew is the kind of therapist who truly makes you feel heard. He listens with care, without judgment, and always has your best interests in mind. Thoughtful, supportive, and easy to talk to, he creates a space where you can open up and work through anything. Highly recommend!
Andrew is excellent in helping me process troubling issues. He offers practical solutions and strategies that I am able to use.
I throughly enjoy my sessions with Andrew. I look forward to my talks with him. He is very professional and always finds a way to help me make sense of things. We have things in common which helps our sessions go smoothly. I would recommend him to anyone.
The reason I put “probably “ recommend is because it depends on what the person is looking for in a therapist. I chose Andrew because I am looking for a male perspective on some of the things I am dealing with. It has been eye opening and has challenged some long held beliefs I have about what men want/think about themselves, women, and where they sit in the world.
Andrew is very professional in his approach to therapy. He has been able to help me face some of my internal trauma and negative thinking. He has a way of being very encouraging, and still challenge me to venture out of my comfort zone. I would highly recommend working with Andrew if you are ready to move past your limiting beliefs.
I would recommend Andrew without reservation to anyone looking for a thoughtful, empathetic, friendly, competent and informative professional counselor. He has an engaging personality that makes you feel safe and comfortable immediately. He spends a lot of time learning about your concerns, strengths and weaknesses and provides great feedback. He is very understanding and encouraging. His knowledge, skills and experience have been beneficial in helping me make positive changes in my life and gain more confidence in myself. I highly recommend his services.
Andrew is always engaging during our visits. He is extremely easy to talk to and candid with me. I appreciate his direct manner and telling me the truth. He's very accommodating and available to his patients. I know he has my back and my best intentions in mind which makes him seem like a long time friend and helps me feel comfortable and trust him. He knows when to be serious and push me and also when to be light-hearted and make me laugh. I've been to a few different therapists before and I haven't ever looked forward to my sessions as much as I do with Andrew. I honestly don't feel like he's judging me and my decisions; he's just there to help me move forward in a better, stronger manner.
I feel very comfortable with Andrew. He gently offers sound advice, providing thoughtful options for navigating difficult situations. His approach is professional yet compassionate and caring, making it easy to open up and feel supported. He is always available when needed, which shows his dedication to his clients. I highly recommend him to anyone seeing guidance and a safe space to work through challenges.
Andrew was patient during our intake and was empathetic. I felt like he was really paying attention to what I was sharing. We have had a few sessions since then and Andrew provided me tools to help me right away with my anxiety.
Andrew is really good at opening your eyes to other's view points and helping you focus on what your real issues and goals are. Teaching you patience for yourself and those around you. He has a large knowledge base of how people struggle and how to help you work through mental blocks, views, and learned behaviors.
