“Andrew is the perfect mix of personal and professional. Instead of employing rigid goal setting, he allows what’s bothering you to unfold organically- leaving you with the feeling that you are driving your mental health journey with excellent guidance and support along the way. He’s funny, charismatic, and most importantly, you can tell he really (really) cares about your well being.”

Getting to know Andrew Carroll

As an openly gay mental health therapist and photographer, I blend empathy and creativity to support clients through creative ruts and issues of sexuality and gender identity. My lived experiences and artistic perspective foster a safe space for exploration and growth. By integrating creative exercises and psychological insights, I help clients challenge themselves and rediscover their passions. My dual roles allow me to offer unique support, guiding individuals on their journey toward self-acceptance and transformation. I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University and am trained in several evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), Mindfulness & Stress Reduction Techniques (MSRT), Psychedelic Integration Therapy (Ketamine & Psilocybin), and Nutritional Psychology. My therapeutic approach blends directness with warmth and accessibility. I offer clear guidance, authentic honesty, and a nonjudgmental environment where clients can freely explore their thoughts and emotions at their own pace. Drawing from diverse therapeutic styles, I customize our sessions collaboratively to best meet your unique needs and goals.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My therapeutic style is direct, but warm and down-to-earth. I incorporate perspectives and tools from many styles of therapy so that I can tailor a costumed therapeutic experience with you. I provide modern holistic practices to build a new way of living with a deeper insight to disrupt unhelpful patterns and create more benefiting behaviors. I aim to provide clear direction, genuine honesty, and a nonjudgmental space to divulge their thoughts and feelings in the manner that feels most comfortable for you. Specialties include LGBTQIA+ Mental Health Care, Psychedelic Integration Therapy, and Ketamine Assisted Therapy (KAP). I am offering KAP in partnership with Journey Clinical.

Andrew is great! He’s insightful, understanding, direct without being harsh, and funny. My work with Andrew has had such a profound impact on my life. I doubt I would be in such a good place mentally and emotionally without his support.
i felt likei was actually heard and understood. i never felt like i was just being handled like a text book patient but actuall listened to and felt like like my problems were seen through his shoes. also i got the tough love i needed.
Mr. Andrew has great energy. Very attentive listener. He gives his opinion on things and he does it in a way which it’s funny but also very needed. I feel like it’s important to me that a therapist is in blunt and honest with our being rude and he fits that very very well.
