During this time, I was the Director of an Outpatient Counseling Department and a Clinical Supervisor for private, non-profit agencies for 15 years. My Master's of Science degree is from Illinois State University. I provide individual therapy for a wide range of psychological and emotional difficulties. Effective therapy is a collaborative experience that occurs within a trusting, respectful relationship. My therapeutic approach combines your present circumstances and past experiences to address your current problems and family/childhood issues. I am open in my approach, sharing my thoughts and inviting any questions. I may ask you to learn self-management techniques such as Mindfulness and CBT. I draw upon my experiences as a therapist as well as my own life history. I maintain compassionate care throughout the treatment My goal is to help you achieve health, well-being, and a sense of belonging within your family and community.
