Life is often not as easy as we'd like to think it should or could be. We often overlook our own successes and start to believe thoughts that prove we are not our best selves. It takes great courage to start therapy, as we are often hopeful that we can change but also fearful that we may not. However, there is good news! By developing new patterns of thinking and feeling, our brain can literally rewire itself, resulting in new behaviors, feelings, and actions. I can assist you in gaining new perspective by utilizing my training in solution-focused brief therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and strength-based approaches-all geared toward allowing you to heal at your pace. I assist many adolescents and adults struggling with depression, anger, adjustment challenges, trauma, relationship difficulties, and anxieties. I hope to help you develop new strategies to create a new worldview. My goal is to assist you in finding the roots to healing at a pace that is comfortable for you. I hold a Bachelor's degree, a Master's in Social Work, and a Master's in Applied Psychology, all from Texas A&M University-Commerce.
