Hello, I'm Andrew. Navigating through life can be challenging when the path ahead is unclear. At times, it may feel as though you are not moving forward. This can greatly impact our well-being when we do not have the proper tools for the journey. I can help guide you through life's challenges while we work together to foster new growth.
In 2018, I graduated from The University of Akron with a dually accredited Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am currently licensed as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and Independent Marriage and Family Therapist (IMFT). Over the last five years, I have worked with adolescents, young adults, couples, and families throughout Ohio. I primarily work with clients with signs of depression, experiences with trauma, challenging life transitions, and stress in intimate/romantic relationships.
I focus on working with teens and adults using a cognitive-behavioral approach, emphasizing acceptance- and mindfulness-based strategies. I can help you learn to work through painful past experiences, find support through current struggles, and guide you through self-growth. I will work on building a safe and trusting therapeutic space for you to meet your goals.
