Getting to know Dr. Andrew Silipo
I provide clients with the tools create meaningful change in their day-to-day lives. You may be struggling to cope with stress or life transitions, fear or worry about the unknown, or difficulty building motivation and confidence. You may feel stuck or permanently altered by traumatic events from the past. You may be experiencing external difficulties: struggling with assertive communication, self-advocacy, or challenging personal and professional relationships. While these are just some examples of why you may be seeking out therapy, we will collaboratively create an approach that is unique to you.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I provide psychotherapy services only and do not prescribe medication. Our first appointment is a free 15-minute call to make sure I am the right fit for you.
I operate mainly from a psychodynamic approach, working together to build a strong therapeutic alliance and a therapeutic frame which promotes mutual respect, compassion, and curiosity. Together we will identify your therapeutic destination, walk alongside one another toward your goals, and work through the roadblocks along the way.
