Psychotherapist
CA
Hi there, I'm Andrew! Hi, I'm Andrew Strassner (MA, LMFT), and I’m here to support you on your healing journey in a safe, warm space. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University. I use a holistic mind-body approach, blending traditional therapy like CBT and psychodynamic methods with mindfulness, meditation, sound healing, or physical activities like yoga or Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to help you heal and transform. Whether you're dealing with trauma, addiction, anxiety, or relationship issues, I’m here to guide you toward real, authentic change. My approach My approach is integrative, blending traditional methods such as CBT with holistic practices like mindfulness, meditation, sound healing, and art therapy. I enjoy working with creatives and artists, using expressive techniques to help them process emotions and trauma. I also incorporate physical activities like yoga and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to support nervous system regulation. My goal is to meet clients where they are and guide them toward healing and transformation in a safe, supportive environment. My focus I work with clients seeking deep, transformative healing, including those dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, relationship issues, learning disabilities, and adjustment disorders like ADHD. I have a special connection with creatives, artists, athletes, Highly Sensitive Persons (HSPs), and high achievers. I’m most comfortable treating clients ready to break free from toxic patterns and embrace a holistic, mind-body approach to healing and growth. My communication style I create a warm, empathetic environment where clients feel safe and supported. My approach is flexible—I use humor and directness when needed, and sometimes work with the inner child to foster deep healing. There are moments when words aren’t necessary, and we may dive into meditation or somatic sound healing if it feels right for the session.
