Hi there, I'm Andrew! Hello, I am so glad you are here! My name is Andrew Visco, but you can call me Andy. I am a licensed social worker (33009762A) with a Master's in Social Work from Indiana University. I specialize in working with young adults navigating life changes, everyday stressors, complex problems, and interpersonal difficulties. I am curious, open-minded, non-paternalistic, and thoughtful. I use metacognitive and narrative approaches to help you think about your thinking so you can build mastery strategies to tackle psychological challenges. I strive to provide a warm and compassionate atmosphere for clients of all backgrounds. I am experienced working with young people and adults who are LGBTQ+, and those who have experienced trauma, psychosis, serious mental illnesses, and personality pathology. My approach I am a certified Metacognitive Reflection and Insight Therapist, using metacognitive and narrative approaches that are person-centered and collaborative. My journey to mental healthcare I believe in servant leadership, upholding the worth and dignity of others, and mutual aid. These values led me to become a therapist. Caring for neighbors, the underserved, and the vulnerable is an essential human task, and I am honored to hold people's stories and assist them in making the changes they want.
