What should a new client know about working with you?

Working with me is active and intentional. This is not a space where you just talk and leave. We focus on understanding what is driving your patterns and then doing something different with that awareness. I am direct, honest, and supportive. I will create a space where you feel safe to be real, while also challenging you when needed. Growth can feel uncomfortable at times, and I will help you move through that without feeling stuck or overwhelmed. Most of the change happens outside of session. I often assign reflection or skill based work so you can apply what we talk about in your daily life. I also help you build practical tools you can actually use when things feel intense. You can expect structure, clarity, and consistency. We will set goals, track progress, and adjust as needed. You will not be doing this alone, but you will be an active part of your process.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My process is structured but flexible based on your needs. We begin with an intake where I take time to understand your history, current concerns, and what is bringing you in. From there, we create a clear treatment plan with goals that feel realistic and meaningful to you. In early sessions, I focus on building awareness, providing grounding tools, and offering psychoeducation so you can better understand what you are experiencing and why. As we move forward, sessions become more focused on application. We look at real situations in your life, identify patterns, and practice new ways of thinking, responding, and setting boundaries. Sessions are collaborative and active. You will not just talk, you will learn skills, reflect, and apply what we discuss outside of session. We will check in on progress, adjust goals as needed, and continue building tools that support long term change.
