What should a new client know about working with you?

The very first session can be a bit overwhelming, I understand. After scheduling your first session, you will receive an initial paperwork and forms to complete prior to meeting. At your first visit we will work on determining your goals for treatment, who will attend our continued sessions, discussions of confidentiality, and how your records will remain confidential. Future sessions will be less formal, and we can continue to get to know one another as we work on meeting your goals. Since each person has different issues and goals for therapy, therapy will be different depending on the individual. I tailor my therapeutic approach to your specific needs. Everyone’s circumstances are unique to them and the length of time therapy can take to allow you to accomplish your goals depends on you.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
