Getting to know Angel DeCapua

I am a doctoral intern at Center for Anxiety's Rockland County office. I specialize in working with anxiety disorders, OCD, depressive disorders, emotion dysregulation, suicidal ideation/self-harming behaviors, and disruptive behavior disorders. I am particularly passionate about working with children, adolescents, young adults, and parents. I primarily utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) in my clinical work. Choosing to seek support and begin therapy is a significant step toward growth and healing. I strive to provide my clients with a warm, nonjudgemental space where they are encouraged to share at a pace that feels comfortable for them. I believe that all people, including my clients, are doing the best they can. My goal as a clinician is to provide support, validation, and problem-solving strategies that empower my clients to make the meaningful changes they seek to achieve in their lives.

The total fee for your initial appointment is $150. Center for Anxiety requires a $100 deposit to secure your appointment, and will charge $50 upon completion of the intake. My rate for follow-up sessions is $175 per hour. Center for Anxiety accepts credit and debit (including HSA) card payments.
