My name is Angel Morgan. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, dual licensed in Oklahoma and Alabama. I hold a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern State University. I primarily use cognitive behavioral therapy and am also trained in TF-CBT, currently in training for EMDR. My approach I mainly use cognitive behavioral therapy along with choice/reality therapy. My focus I work with anyone over the age of 10, with a strong connection to teenagers. I have specialized in supporting young adults recovering from narcissistic abuse. My communication style I strive to create a warm, comfortable environment where clients feel open to communicate. Many of my current clients say they feel at ease and supported, as if they have someone walking this journey with them. My journey to mental healthcare What I love most about therapy is witnessing people's lives change, improve, and become brighter. My path to becoming a therapist began with a personal experience involving a young man when I was little, whose life reflected many I see today. Many people face trauma but are unsure how to handle the residue it leaves behind. I enjoy accompanying them on that journey and watching their transformation. My goals for you I believe clients benefit most by choosing a goal they want to achieve while I help them assess their progress along the way. My first session with you Clients can expect a warm welcome and an opportunity to share basic information to create their treatment plan. I will explain the type of treatment they can expect and offer a chance to ask questions.
