I am a Board Certified Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in helping individuals cope with the everyday stressors of life, reaching their full potential and seeing themselves in a new light. I have provided therapy to individuals from children to seniors. I also have experience providing therapy to adults with cognitive challenges and have used modified treatment strategies to work effectively with that population. I use a strength based approach and encourage you to talk about whatever it is you would like to work on to set the pace for your sessions and develop your treatment goals.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I use different approaches based on individual need, such as dialectal and cognitive interventions, and skills for emotional regulation, specifically for those with cognitive challenges. I also utilize narrative techniques for empowerment and to encourage you to give meaning to your unique story. We can also work together using EMDR to process past trauma.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I enjoy talking with people and will use a person centered approach while working with you on your goals. I also like to focus on solutions and provide a safe space for you to process your feelings and talk about issues that may be going on in your life. I am looking forward to working with you.
