What should a new client know about working with you?

My treatment approach is rooted in evidenced based practices that focus on the mind-body connection and I maintain a client centered approach. I believe that clients can overcome their past hurts and live fully in the present with peace. I have excelled in my practice because I am passionate about helping my clients achieve their goals and I provide a safe and non-judgmental space for them to explore their thoughts, feelings and experiences.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The first session with me will be an assessment where I ask questions to better get to know you and the areas you want to work on. It will take several sessions to get to know each other, but generally, the second session is where true therapy begins. I have an eclectic approach and typically have a mix of talk therapy, EMDR, Brainspotting and other modalities over many sessions. One session might be talk therapy, the next one might be Brainspotting and the next one might bring in CBT during talk therapy as the Brainspotting session is integrated.
