Getting to know Angela Tayson

Hello, I am Angela Tayson, a Licensed Professional Counselor holding a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. At some point in our lives, we all fall on hard times and face struggles that seem impossible to overcome, leaving us feeling lost. Allow me to guide you toward the life that you want and deserve. I believe that change is constant and certain, so I like to meet clients where they are and help them get where they want to be. I have helped many achieve constructive changes that have led them to emotional healing. With years of experience in mental health, I'll help you learn the skills you need. Over the years, I have served many different populations and gained extensive experience working with autism, PTSD, anxiety, depression, trauma, bipolar, and borderline personality disorders. Two of the populations I am most passionate about are veterans and special needs families. While living in Michigan, I was able to serve the autism population and recognized the distress it causes not just the individual but also the families. I also work with families facing chronic illness. As a veteran, I understand the struggles one goes through not just as a service member but also as part of a family, and I would love to help you navigate your life.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I use a combination of different styles as no to clients are the same. I have used CBT, DBT, Person centered, and ACT over the years.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I would love to take the time to get to know you with an intake session and develop a solid treatment plan to get you where you want to be.

Ongoing session: $150 for 50 minutes
