Getting to know Angela Valeski

Angela is Co-Owner and Director of Counseling Services. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned her Master's Degree in Social Work from West Chester University. With a decade of experience in the mental health field, Angela has worked in areas such as Community Mental Health, Individual Therapy, and Substance Abuse IOP. She has become comfortable and competent in nearly every specialty and primarily works with teens and adults. Sessions are offered in person at our Freehold location and virtually through a secure telehealth portal. Angela's approach to therapy is “empowering and solution focused.” While she specializes in life transitions and adjustments, she enjoys being challenged by new scenarios. She is qualified in areas including, but not limited to, behavior modification, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, relationships, trauma, posttraumatic stress disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, sleep disorders, maternal mental health, infertility, ADD/ADHD, religion-based therapy, and LGBTQ+. What should a new client know about working with you?

Angela is our practice owner and provides talk therapy and professional supervision. It is practice policy not to provide letter for medical reasons. She takes only select private insurance plans including Aetna and United Healthcare. The practice doesn't not currently work with Medicare of Medicaid. Sessions are 55 minutes in length and stay goal focused, while leaving space for the stressors of everyday like.
