You’ve worked hard to build a successful life, but stress, self-doubt, anxiety, or past trauma may still be holding you back from feeling your best. I help high-achievers, professionals, and women navigating life transitions regulate their nervous system, release old patterns, and create more balance, confidence, and clarity. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 16 years of experience in therapy and coaching, I specialize in EMDR therapy for trauma, stress reduction coaching for high-achievers in Florida, online therapy for women’s issues, short-term therapy and EMDR intensives, and virtual therapy for PTSD and trauma in Ohio, Florida, and Washington, D.C. My work is grounded in a trauma-informed, mind-body approach. Therapy with me is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to your unique goals. Together, we’ll explore what’s holding you back and create a clear, results-driven plan for healing. Some clients prefer ongoing therapy to steadily build confidence and self-awareness, while others choose focused EMDR intensives to accelerate progress. I understand how difficult it can be to take the first step toward therapy. My role is to provide a safe, compassionate space where you can heal from the past, reduce stress in the present, and feel confident about the future. Whether you are seeking relief from anxiety, looking for strategies to prevent burnout, or ready to process trauma so it no longer controls your life, I will help you create the internal capacity and clarity you need to thrive.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients often describe me as calm, supportive, and results-focused-and also humorous when appropriate! My goal is to meet you where you are, honor your story, and help you move toward the life you want to create. I believe that therapy can be a mix of getting serious work done, but doesn't always have to feel heavy. Therapy with me is about building insight, teaching you how to regulate your nervous system, and giving you practical strategies you can use in daily life. I believe therapy should be both safe and effective. That’s why I integrate EMDR therapy, trauma-informed techniques, and stress reduction practices to help you achieve meaningful results. For high-achievers and professionals, this often means finding ways to lower stress while still meeting ambitious goals. For women navigating relationships, parenting, or career transitions, it often means building self-confidence, healing old wounds, and learning how to create boundaries that protect their energy and well-being. You can expect me to listen deeply, reflect what I hear, and help you connect patterns between your current challenges and past experiences. At the same time, I’ll give you tools that you can start using right away—whether that’s grounding exercises, cognitive strategies, or EMDR resourcing skills. Above all, I want you to feel comfortable and supported. Many clients tell me that they feel relief after our very first session because they finally have someone who understands what they’re going through and offers a clear path forward.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our work together usually begins with an initial consultation, where we’ll discuss your history, current challenges, and the goals you’d like to achieve. From there, I create a personalized treatment plan that reflects your needs. This may include weekly or biweekly therapy sessions, short-term therapy for targeted concerns, or an EMDR intensive if you’re looking for accelerated results. A typical session often combines talk therapy with nervous system regulation tools, trauma-informed strategies, and EMDR therapy (when appropriate). You can expect sessions to feel structured AND flexible-both grounded in your goals but responsive to what you’re experiencing that day. For some, this means processing trauma memories through EMDR to reduce the emotional charge. For others, it may mean learning new coping skills to manage stress, addressing patterns of self-doubt, or practicing techniques that help restore calm and clarity. Clients who are high-achievers often find that therapy helps them stay grounded while still performing at a high level. I also serve women navigating stress, career changes, or relationship concerns often discover new levels of confidence and freedom. Those working through PTSD or trauma can experience profound relief as EMDR helps the brain reprocess painful memories. I also offer EMDR intensives, which condense weeks or months of therapy into a shorter period of time for those who prefer faster results. Many clients choose this when facing a big life transition or wanting to move past trauma more efficiently. Throughout the process, I emphasize collaboration. We’ll check in regularly to assess progress, refine goals, and ensure you feel supported. My aim is to help you not only resolve the challenges you’re facing today but also build tools and resilience that support you long-term.
