Getting to know Angela Williams

I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for 24 years. I am passionate about helping my clients overcome their perceived challenges and find their inner strength. I help my clients find confidence, joy, and improved connections with others. I grew up overseas and have lived around the world, giving me the opportunity to learn about other cultures and beliefs. This global experience has given me compassion and a greater understanding of situations beyond my own.

What should a new client know about working with you?

In our first session, my main goal is to help you feel comfortable and to get to know you better. We will talk about what brought you to therapy, what you would like to work on, and what you hope to get out of our time together. I will also share a bit about how I work, answer any questions you may have, and review topics such as confidentiality and session structure. The first session isn't about diving into deep and fixing everything in the first session. It is about building a foundation of trust and understanding. By the end of our first session, we will have a clearer picture of your goals and plans, and we can move forward together at a pace that feels right for you.
