"Hello, I'm Angela. I understand that pain in life is unavoidable, and as your therapist, I want to help you work toward a healing solution. My approach is rooted in using a wide variety of research-based interventions, including eclectic therapy, to adapt to the unique needs of each adult I work with. I believe in meeting you where you are and tailoring our sessions to best support your journey toward wellness. I have had the privilege of working with a diverse population of adult clients, including Veterans, who have varied needs. Some of my areas of expertise include addiction, depression, anxiety, PTSD, personality, and mood disorders. I am also experienced in addressing issues related to borderline personality disorder, anger management, grief and bereavement, stress, family relationships, autism spectrum support, psychosis and schizophrenia, OCD, eating disorders, life transitions, trauma, ADHD, dissociative disorders, bipolar disorder, intimate and romantic relationships, gender identity, military and veteran support, medical issues and physical health, spirituality, phobias, multicultural and diversity issues, and suicidal ideation and self-harming behaviors. My educational journey began with earning an Associate's degree in 2011, which led me to start working in the field of addiction. Recognizing the strong need to treat individuals for other mental health needs, I pursued a Bachelor's degree in social work, which I completed in 2015. My passion for helping others continued to grow, and in 2019, I earned a Master's degree in clinical mental health counseling. Throughout my career, I have worked in various settings, including psychiatric hospitals and community agencies, providing both in-office and telehealth services. Together, we will develop a comprehensive plan so that you can get the tools, support, and knowledge you need to help you reach your goals.
