Hi there, I'm Angelica, and I want to start by congratulating you on choosing the journey to heal. The decision to face our challenges, heal, and grow is a hard one but by far the most rewarding. My mission is to actively work towards changing the world for the better, one interaction at a time. For me, it is important to treat everyone with respect and compassion. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Florida International University and have years of experience working with diverse populations experiencing a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, physical and emotional abuse, and active hallucinations and delusions. I have worked with adults and children in school settings, hospitals, jails, juvenile detention centers, and with members of the LGBTQ community. My therapy style is non-judgmental, welcoming, warm, and interactive. I believe in creating an environment where individuals feel important, listened to, empowered, and can heal through vulnerability. Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
