Angelica Romero, LCSW

Angelica Romero, LCSW

Psychotherapist
7900 SW 57th Ave, Ste 24, Miami, FL
Ever since I was a little girl, I felt the need to help others; making a positive change in someone else's life brought immense joy to me. Coming from an immigrant family with limited resources, I joined the military to achieve my educational goals. While in the military, I moved frequently and had the opportunity to meet people from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and religions. I learned how our differences make us unique, interesting, and truly wonderful. However, these differences can sometimes create conflict both internally and externally. For this reason, I decided to become a social worker and help make a positive change in the world, one person at a time. I earned my Master's in Social Work from the University of New England, which has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to support individuals through their challenges. I understand how difficult it can be to share your life story with a stranger, but please know I am here to help you find the strength you thought you lost but is simply hidden deep within you. Together, we will work to help you achieve your goals and improve your life.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
