Getting to know Angelique Allen

I am a licensed psychotherapist with a Master's in Counseling from the University of Cumberlands and a variety of clinical experiences. I have worked with clients on LGBTQIA+ related issues, relationship challenges, substance abuse, family conflicts, motivation, self-esteem and confidence, traumas from physical and sexual abuse, personality disorders, depression, and anxiety. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion-these are the tenets of every therapeutic relationship I build. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique needs. Embarking on the journey to a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage, and I am here to support you throughout that process.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients should expect to feel seen and heard throughout our therapeutic time together. I strive to ensure that clients are supported in reaching their goals by providing the appropriate skills and tools. This is a safe, nonjudgmental space where we can decrease the volume from the outside world and truly focus on mental wellness and healing.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
