Hi. I work with all ages and am trained in trauma-based therapies such as CBT, DBT, and EMDR. I specialize in addiction counseling. In addition, I offer individual and relationship therapy using attachment-based therapies, solution-focused brief therapy, and Gestalt self-compassion techniques. I have worked with foster youth, couples, families, and the LGBTQ community. My work is professionally rewarding as I assist people in reaching their goals. I am also committed to advocating for people with disabilities and diverse populations. I hold a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Touro University Worldwide and have completed training in EMDR and Integrative Trauma Studies at Bay Area Therapy Group. In our first session, I will work to provide you relief and address your concerns, while encouraging you to share more information to enable a full assessment and collaborative treatment planning. I can offer assessment tools to track your progress and provide independent fulfillment exercises to practice between sessions and throughout your life experiences. Some of the populations and areas I have worked with include youth, couples, adults, elders, veterans, and families. I have supported clients coping with loss and trauma, addiction, ADHD, bipolar disorder, symptom reduction, self-harm, anxiety, depression, and autism. The modalities I use include CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT, mindfulness, narrative therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, flash technique, and self-compassion. I am always open to learning more and pursuing specialized training in modalities that best suit your needs. These are the approaches I have found to yield the best results for those I have had the opportunity to work with. I hope to develop a special relationship with you, help you fulfill your needs, and support you in living your best life.
